Fleet Servicing in Perth

Scheduled servicing and repairs for work vehicles, from a Malaga workshop that can handle the mechanical, the air conditioning and the auto electrical without sending your vehicle somewhere else.

What fleet operators actually need

The mechanics of a fleet service are not different. What differs is everything around it.

  • Vehicles back in service quickly. A van off the road is a day of work lost, and that usually costs more than the repair.
  • Predictable scheduling so servicing lands when it suits your operation rather than when something breaks.
  • Consistent, itemised invoicing that does not turn reconciliation into its own job.
  • Being told what is coming. Knowing tyres or brakes are due next quarter lets you plan instead of react.
  • One workshop for the whole vehicle, including AC and auto electrical — not three suppliers and three lots of downtime.
  • Straight answers about what can wait, which matters more when it is multiplied across a fleet.

Why AC and auto electrical matter more on work vehicles

Air conditioning on a work vehicle is not a comfort item — a driver in a van in a Perth summer without functioning AC is a genuine problem. It is also the system most likely to be ignored until it fails completely, because it deteriorates slowly. A performance check at each service is a few minutes and prevents the February scramble.

Auto electrical load on work vehicles is far higher than standard — beacons, two-way radios, inverters, tool charging, fridges, tailgate lifts, trailer wiring. That is a lot of demand on a charging system and a lot of added wiring, and it is where fleet reliability problems concentrate. Having a workshop that does this work rather than referring it out saves real downtime.

What we cover

Talk to us about how your fleet runs and we will work out how to fit around it. Call (08) 9249 8619.

What affects the price

We quote after we have looked at the vehicle, because an honest number needs the actual fault rather than a description of it. What moves the price on this kind of work:

  • Diagnostic time. An obvious fault is quick; an intermittent one that only appears when hot, cold or over a bump takes longer to reproduce and confirm.
  • Part cost for your specific vehicle. This varies enormously between makes — European parts are frequently multiples of the equivalent for a common Japanese model.
  • Access. Some components are behind a dash, a subframe or an engine mount. The part can be cheap and the labour the opposite.
  • Whether the fault has caused secondary damage that also needs addressing.
  • Whether coding or calibration is required after fitting.

You get the number before the work starts, and nothing extra happens without you approving it first.

Warranty on this work

Workmanship and parts are covered. The specific period depends on the job and on the part supplier's own warranty, so the terms that apply to your repair are set out on your invoice — ask us to walk you through them before you approve the work if you would like it clear up front.

This sits alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which apply regardless of what any warranty document says.

Frequently asked questions

Do you service commercial vehicles and vans?

Yes — light commercials, vans, utes and 4WDs across European, Asian, Australian and American makes, for fleets of any size.

Can you schedule servicing around our operation?

That is the point of a fleet arrangement. Tell us how your vehicles are used and when you can release them, and we will plan servicing around that rather than the other way around.

Can you handle AC and auto electrical as well as mechanical?

Yes, all in-house. On work vehicles that matters — the added electrical load from beacons, radios, inverters and tool charging is where a lot of fleet reliability problems start, and not having to send the vehicle elsewhere saves downtime.

How does invoicing work for a fleet?

Itemised and consistent, so reconciliation is not its own task. Talk to us about how you need it presented.

Can you inspect vehicles before we buy them?

Yes. A pre-purchase inspection before a vehicle enters the fleet is considerably cheaper than discovering its history afterwards.
